Wedding Photography Studley
Studley Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon
The wedding was recorded at the stunning Studley Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Dating back to 1833, Studley Castle seamlessly combines historic character and modern charm.
We arrived at the castle in the morning, where we met the bride in the bridal suite to take some pre wedding shots of her and the brides maids getting ready, having their hair and make up done and a few glasses of bubbly.
Then we moved to the front of the castle to meet with the groom and the best man for more pre wedding photo’s, this led to take a few shots of the castle outside and of the ceremony room and reception room before the main event began.
The whole day flowed without a hitch, we captured some lovely photos due to the fact that we had prior meetings with bride and groom about expected times for the day, like the meal, the speeches and time to take some romantic photo’s, this meant we could be where we were needed without to much disruption to the proceedings.
We then moved onto the night with the cutting of the cake and the first dance, as usual before the main events happened, we went around the guests capturing people with family and friends, we find as people go through the day they have a few drinks, mingle with the groups they feel comfortable with and this makes them more likely to accept having a photo taken.
We stayed until 9pm as this allows us to capture the entire day, they had their first dance between 8:30pm and 9pm and after that it was an all out party, we captured a few silly dance moves and some more photo’s of guests.
Then we left them to enjoy the beginning of married life.
